Huawei Kirin 980 7 nm chipset to power Mate 20 series this October!
Huawei just confirmed that they will be releasing their Mate 20 series this October 2018 with a Kirin 980 7 nm chipset inside!

Huawei Mate 20 series will be the first smartphones to be powered with a world-first commercially available 7 nm chipset, in this case, the Kirin 980. This latest chipset from the Chinese smartphone giant will be 20 percent faster and 40 percent more efficient than its predecessor, the Kirin 970.
Huawei Kirin 980 is to reportedly to have a processor core that peaks at 2.GHz! The Kirin 980 is set to be announced by the tech giant at the IFA congress in Berlin in the next few weeks.
Meanwhile, the Huawei Mate 20 series is reportedly to have the following smartphones: the Mate 20 Pro, the Mate 20, and the Mate 20 Lite. The latest leak that came out is that the Mate 20 will have a notched screen. Meanwhile, the most detailed leaks that came out were about the Mate 20 Lite, it will have a notched 6.3-inch display with a dual rear camera.
The Mate 20 Lite will be powered by the Kirin 710 chipset. Many expect that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will sport a notched 6.25-inch screen.
We all just have to wait for the IFA congress for more details about the Huawei Kirin 980 and the Mate 20 series.
