Aside from its big screen, decent specs, and massive battery capacity, the OPPO A3s also arrived with good camera specs for the price of just PHP 6,990.

As a matter of fact, it even has a dual camera setup at the back. It boasts a 13MP f/2.2 primary sensor paired with a 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor. The secondary 2MP sensor is the one responsible for capturing depth information when you will use the bokeh mode.

For selfies, it has an 8MP f/2.2 sensor with AI Beauty 2.0 technology like the higher-end OPPO F7. It can automatically detect the "right" face beauty setting for your face.
Now, here are the first few shots we took with A3s.

Lowlight selfie |
OPPO did a very good job with the cameras of the A3s for me. The dual cameras at the back can capture shots with good amount of detail and colors in well-lit conditions. The HDR is not too HDR too. It can even focus on close-up subjects. The 2x digital zoom is still detailed.
As expected, there's a dip in quality in lowlight. But for the price tag of just PHP 6,990, the lowlight shots we got are considered as decent in quality. It isn't as grainy as other similarly priced budget phones.
The face beauty of the single selfie camera is a bit aggressive. But, it can definitely compete with the level of detail and colors on few higher-end phones.
Interesting so far!
