At the IFA 2018, Honor teased the successor of the Magic smartphone last 2018, the Magic 2.
A new monster phone! |
The Honor Magic 2 highlights a stunning near bezel-less design with no notch and no thick chin. How? It'll have the OPPO Find X-like design with pop-up cameras.

The only difference is it isn't mechanical like the Find X. You will need to open it with the use of your hand based on the report of GSMArena.
It is also safe to say that the slide-out/pop-up mechanism found on the Magic 2 will house the selfie cam and other sensors aside from the back camera/s.
Inside, the Magic 2 will come with the unannounced HiSilicon Kirin 980. Honor claimed that it is the "the smartest AI device there is." The said SoC is said to have great performance gain over its predecessor. It will also have the next-generation NPU to handle AI tasks.
The Magic 2 will also feature the upgraded Magic Charge with 40W charging speeds. It also has 15-layer of safety protection system and auto identification of three critical parts when charging.
Nothing was revealed to the public aside from the above-mentioned interesting features.
We can expect Honor to release this device towards the end of 2018.
